Return & Replacement Policy

At Gems Rudraksha Mala, we take pride in offering handcrafted natural gemstones and jewelry, making each piece truly unique. Due to the nature of the products we sell, please read this policy carefully before requesting a return, exchange, and/or refund.

Return & Exchange Policy

While we want to ensure you are satisfied with your purchase, we cannot guarantee that every request for return, refund, and/or exchange will be accepted. We reserve the right to refuse any request that does not meet the conditions below.

Returns or exchanges are only accepted if your order is damaged during transit or if you received an incorrect product.

Requests for a refund or exchange must be made within seven (07) days of receiving your product. The item must be returned in its original condition with its original certification and packaging intact. Any tampering with the product and/or its certifications may result in denial of your return request.

Returns and exchanges will not be accepted after the 7-day period.

Note: The Customer acknowledges and agrees that, due to the nature of the products, the Company requires videographic proof to process any return or exchange request. This videographic evidence is mandatory for the Company to internally evaluate the condition of the product. Failure to provide such proof will render the Company unable to process the return or exchange request.

Authenticity verification

We at Gems Rudraksha Mala take utmost pride in serving quality products. If you have doubts regarding quality, you may get the product verified for authenticity at a Government gemological institute (ISO certified or internationally reputed). If any gemstone is proven to be synthetic or artificial by such an institute, you are entitled to a 100% refund, return, or exchange, as you deem fit.

Note: Courier charges, VAT, and duties are non-refundable on any product you wish to return and/or exchange. The Company will not arrange pick-up for returns or exchanges. All shipping charges for such return/exchange shall be borne by you and cannot be claimed, adjusted, or issued as a credit note from our end.

Note: Due to the intrinsic nature of the products we sell and the risk of substitution with counterfeit or low-quality items, we cannot accept return requests for certain products without mandatory verification. Personalized rings, jewellery, bracelets, or any wearable made to a specific fitting size cannot be returned. Please check the website or contact customer support to enquire about return eligibility before ordering.

Note: All customised or made-to-order jewellery (rings, lockets, pendants, bracelets, necklaces, or other personalised items) is manufactured only after the Customer reviews and approves the final design, including CAD or any other format provided by the Company. Once the design is approved and manufacturing begins, making charges become non-refundable. If cancellation or return is requested after approval and production initiation, applicable making charges will be deducted from any advance payment.

Refund process

If your return request is approved, your refund will be processed and credited to your credit card or original payment method within 10–12 working days, subject to unforeseeable delays from bank processes and/or public holidays.

Once your return is received and inspected by our team, we will email you acknowledging receipt and notify you of approval or rejection of your refund based on our internal inspection.

Refunds will only be issued to the payment method and/or original account initially used for the transaction. We cannot process refunds to any account other than the original source of payment.

For prepaid orders via Credit Card, Debit Card, or Net Banking, the refunded amount will typically be credited back to the original account within 5–7 working days.

Note: For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, the Company may request additional details including PAN Card for orders above Rupees Two Lakh to process any refund. Refunds will only be processed if details provided match information on record.

International orders

For international orders outside India, in the event of a delivery issue, we will process a refund to the original payment method within 40 to 45 days. This timeline applies exclusively to international orders.

Custom duties, VAT, and other charges imposed by the destination country are the customer's responsibility. Refunds will only be processed upon receipt of returned items, less any fees, customs duties, VAT, and other charges incurred for the return process.

Note: At the time of shipping the return item to Gems Rudraksha Mala, you are responsible for providing correct information regarding the product, including purchase price and particulars, for customs clearance. Failure to comply may result in non-fulfillment of the return.

Exclusions for returns or exchanges

Please review size charts and product descriptions carefully before purchase. The Company shall not be liable for sizing or color discrepancies within normal and acceptable variations.

Change of mind — disliking the product or no longer wishing to retain it
Minor flaws or packaging issues that do not affect functionality or quality
Slight color or size variations due to lighting, screen resolution, or manufacturing tolerances

Cancellation policy

Once an order is placed, cancellations are not permitted under any circumstances.

Late or missing refunds

If you have not received your refund, first verify your bank account. Contact your credit card company or bank, as posting may take additional time. If you still have not received your refund after these steps, contact us at support@gemsrudrakshamala.com.

Sale items

All items marked as "Sale" or purchased at a discounted price are final sale. These items are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund under any circumstances.

Exchanges

We will only replace items if they are defective or damaged upon receipt. Contact us at support@gemsrudrakshamala.com within 7 days from the date of receipt. Exchanges are subject to availability. Items must be returned in original condition, including packaging and tags where applicable.

Note: Videographic proof is mandatory to process any return or exchange request, as described in the eligibility section above.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit for the value of your return once the returned item is received.

If the item was not marked as a gift, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give later, we will send a refund to the gift giver only, as refunds are issued only to the source account of payment.
